Anna Haebich, Darryl Kickett and Margaret Culbong

Anna Haebich is a John Curtin distinguished professor at Curtin University, and an award-winning author and historian. Her latest publication is Dancing in Shadows: Histories of Nyungar Performance (UWA Publishing, 2017). Darryl Kickett is a Nyungar man from Narrogin. He has managed community organisations serving land and primary healthcare needs, and was head of the Curtin University Centre for Aboriginal Studies. He currently leads community research for the Ancestors’ Words project. Margaret Colbung, a well-known Nyungar Elder and a proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, was a member of the National Aboriginal Conference and remains active in local political issues.
