Inside Story is approaching its seventh anniversary in a significantly different world from the one we lived in when we launched the magazine in late 2008. Kevin Rudd was in the Lodge, George W. Bush was still president of the United States, the global financial crisis was just setting in, and the first iPad was still eighteen months away. Rudd and Bush have gone, the GFC lingers on, and the iPad (and its non-Apple rivals) seems to be here to stay, at least for the foreseeable future. It seems a safe bet to launch our iPad app, designed and assembled by Liquorice Studios.
Inside Story’s iPad edition will appear at the beginning of each month and feature a selection of articles from the previous four weeks. To begin with, though, this special launch edition features selected essays, commentary and reviews from the first half of 2015. We hope you enjoy it.
