Craig Jeffrey

Craig Jeffrey has more than thirty years’ experience studying youth, education, and social change in India. He has published eight books and more than seventy articles and book chapters on South Asian politics and development, and has frequently advised governments and industry on Indian education policy and social engagement. He is the author of Timepass: Youth, Class and the Politics of Waiting (Stanford University Press). Outside his research, he serves as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) at Monash University.
